Do you provide a diamond certificate?

Yes. At LAVO, we provide a reliable appraisal by an international appraisal agency. We guarantee quality and transparency. (*Only applies to products with diamonds of 0.3 carats or more)

Can I choose the cut, color, and clarity of the stone?

We are sorry. We are currently unable to accommodate individual requests. Please note that we deliver products that meet our quality standards from among the grades carefully selected by our store. If you have a preferred grade, please contact us and we will make suggestions to the extent possible.

What material are the metal parts made of? Are they suitable for people with allergies?

We use platinum, and have selected materials that are nickel-free and hypoallergenic.

Are the colors of the product photos different from the actual product?

The actual product may look slightly different depending on your monitor settings and lighting. We take great care in the photography and editing to ensure you are satisfied with the beauty of the actual product.

If I purchase multiple items, will they be individually wrapped?

Yes, all jewelry is carefully packed and individually boxed.

Why did LAVO choose LabGrown?

Lab-grown diamonds are diamonds born from "people's love" as a more sustainable, transparent and ethical choice, with consideration for the environment. LAVO chose lab-grown diamonds to give form to such "love" and "feelings" - beauty that cannot be seen with the eyes - and to connect them to the future.

What does the brand name "LAVO" mean?

The name LAVO is a combination of "Laboratory" and "Love." Born from the "love of the people," the Maison delivers lab-grown diamonds as a new option with love.

Where is LAVO jewelry made?

Each piece is carefully crafted by skilled craftsmen at affiliated workshops both in Japan and overseas.

How can I be sure of the reliability of your brand?

We value transparency in all aspects, including the issuance of appraisal certificates, clear pricing, warranty systems, and customer support systems.

Who issues the certificate?

We use appraisal certificates from international organizations such as IGI (International Gemological Institute).

Is a warranty included?

All jewelry comes with a certificate to guarantee that it is an authentic LAVO product. The certificate will be required when requesting after-sales service, so please keep it in a safe place.

Payment and settlement

What payment methods are available?

We accept credit cards (VISA, MasterCard, American Express, JCB) and bank transfers.

Is it possible to pay in installments (such as credit card payments)?

This may be possible depending on the terms of your credit card contract. Please select installment payment when ordering.

Can I issue a receipt?

Yes. If you write "I would like a receipt" in the comment section when placing your order, we will send you a receipt in PDF format by email.

About delivery and shipping

How long will it take from ordering to delivery?

Since we carefully make each item after receiving your order, it usually takes about 4 to 6 weeks for delivery.

Can you ship overseas?

For information about available countries and shipping fees, please contact us using the inquiry form.

Are there pre-orders or pre-orders available?

We may accept pre-orders for new and limited items. Details will be announced on SNS or in our email newsletter.

Who is the delivery company?

Sagawa Express will deliver your order using the most suitable delivery method depending on the order contents and delivery area.

Can I specify a date and time or have it delivered to a designated location?

For domestic deliveries, you can specify the date and time with Sagawa Express. In principle, we do not offer delivery to unattended parcels for safety reasons.

What about customs duties for international shipping?

Taxes will be borne by the recipient in accordance with local tax laws. Please check with your local customs office or delivery company for details.

When gifts are delivered, is the amount written on an invoice or something?

If you request gift wrapping, we will send you an invoice without the amount listed.

Returns and Exchanges

Can I return or exchange items?

If the product is defective, please contact us within 10 days of receiving the product. We do not accept returns or exchanges for personal reasons. Please see our return policy here.

Size and fit information

I don't know my ring size, what should I do?

Before ordering, we recommend that you check your exact ring size according to the LAVO size guide. Please see the size guide for more information.

Can you resize the ring?

Ring resizing is available for a fee. Availability and costs vary depending on the product's specifications, so please contact customer support first. Please contact us here.

What to do if the finger size is not right?

If the item is unused and you contact us within 10 days of arrival, we may be able to change the size to accommodate your request.

About gift wrapping

Can I gift wrap the product?

All jewelry is delivered in a high-quality LAVO original box, perfect for a special gift.

About maintenance and after-sales support

How can I maintain it?

Wipe gently with a soft cloth and store away from direct sunlight, high temperatures and humidity. For details, see the "Care Instructions" page.

Is there a warranty period for the product?

At LAVO, we take every precaution to ensure the quality of our products, but in the unlikely event of a defect, we offer a product warranty that covers damage that occurs during normal use. The warranty period is one month from the date of delivery of the product.

Can you repair it for me?

Yes. We offer repair services for a fee so that you can enjoy your precious jewelry for a long time. The availability and cost of repairs vary depending on the item and its condition, so please feel free to contact our customer support for details.

About Lab-Grown Diamonds

How are lab-grown diamonds different from natural diamonds?

Lab-grown diamonds are diamonds that are grown in a laboratory rather than underground. They have the exact same physical, chemical and optical properties as natural diamonds, but are a sustainable choice that takes into consideration the environment and human rights.

How are lab-grown diamonds made?

Using techniques known as high pressure and high temperature (HPHT) or chemical vapor deposition (CVD), carbon atoms are attached to a seed crystal to artificially crystallize it.

What exactly does it mean to be eco-friendly?

Compared to natural diamonds produced through traditional mining, they involve less land destruction, water usage and CO2 emissions, and are produced in ethical working conditions.

What is the difference between artificial stones and cubic zirconia?

Cubic zirconia and other stones are imitation stones that "look like" diamonds, but lab-grown diamonds have the same chemical structure as the real thing, so even experts cannot tell the difference without authentication equipment.

Does the quality differ depending on the appraisal agency?

The physical quality of the same diamond will remain the same. However, because the strictness of the evaluation standards and the display method differ between appraisal institutions, there may be slight differences in the grade notation.

If it is not stated that it is lab-grown, is it possible to identify it?

It is possible, but it is difficult for the average consumer to tell the difference with the naked eye. Inspection using specialized equipment by a specialized appraisal agency is required.
